Solar System International Co., Ltd. (SSI) was formed in 1991 by the current owners and senior management who had been trained in the art of watch making by the Swiss Federation of Horology in the late 60’s. With their intensive experience in internationally renowned brands and high quality manufacturing, the company now utilizes state of the art design systems which allow clients access to an end to end production process within the higher quality sector.

SSI currently has a production capacity of over 3 million pieces per year from an assembly plant located across the China border. Final Random Inspection and administration offices are still based in Hong Kong. Quality control starts at the initial stage and is followed through at every stage of development until goods are dispatched to the customer. Throughout this process, extensive testing equipment is employed to undertake such tests such as timing accuracy, waterproofing, and other functional tests normally associated with high quality craftsmanship.
